My Pandora Charm Experience

I am so elated to have discovered this web-site because I have been collecting these fun and valuable charms for multiple years!!! I was just cruising the internet looking for online vendors and deals to continue my collection! So, thank you for my discovery and the ability to share some personal moments and how they are linked to my precious and emotional Pandora charms and my life events!

First, I was introduced to Pandora charms while living in Europe. My sister was enlisted in the Air Force and I was her ‘nanny’. She gave me my first charm and this began a litaney of easy gift ideas for my entire family and friends. It is so amazing to actually have an answer to the question, “what would you like as a gift for …”. I always have a wish list of charms to offer as ideas. My own following of close ones that now expect these charms as gifts is growing every Christmas and seems to be the expectation. I am so happy to get and then give these fun collections and then spend time discussing each one and passing them around, this is building so many fun moments that we will hopefully always remember for years to come.

Anyhow, my first purchase was the charm bracelet and a birthday charm with a stone (far right of photo) the bead ocean wave; I love jewelry and this was so adorable when it was the only charm hanging on to that bracelet. I wore this everyday and everynight, my niece that I cared for was a toddler and this bracelet entertained her for hours and kept us all well behaved at multiple moments when it’s good to have a quiet child. HeeHee.

My sister then gifted me the next sterling silver charm on the bracelet, it has this fun swirl pattern to it. This was to commenerate a trip to the Azour Islands that we took as ‘adults’, the niece was watched by close friends and my sister and I left for a week of fun. This was so special as we were six years apart in age and until I lived with her in Europe, we were just sisters not really friends. So, you can see how this bracelet began to develop as my relationship with her also did.

An additional life event that occurred in Europe was my meeting of a certain gentlemen that eventually became my husband. My new boyfriend had quizzed my sister on a gift for me and of course she told him about my new empty bracelet. He gave me a the silver charm with the large amethysts all the way around it, what an awesome charm, I saw it like a ring but better, I could wear it always without all that pressure of a new relationship – I felt like a queen collecting gold coins every time I would get to open a special little box with a surprise inside. This charm is so great because over our decade dating history it has been put on and taken off my bracelet depending on where our relationship was or wasn’t! Now, it is on my bracelet for good and has really worn well over all these years.

I cannot count the number of times I have received comments on my charm bracelet and how many opportunities to open a conversation with a stranger it has offered. I have started to gift these charms to my own family and friends and they are so excited to fill there own bracelets with special moments and beauty. I love how fun and easy it is to pick various ones out depending on the personality of the person I am gifting to. We recently moved and I have not located a local dealer as we are in a small community now, hence my online search. What fun this has been because now I can see the new charms for the seasons and actually store a Wish List!! I am so excited and thrilled with this new discovery. I feel like the first moment I got my bracelet so long ago. I have a dream that I can continue to collect these charms as reflections of moments, emotions, and eventually pass them on my children and hopefully grandchildren one day. I can not wait to share more stories of my other charms in the near future. I just feel like writing down all these fun moments right now!
