Charms For All Ages

For my birthday the one gift I asked for from my husband and 2 kids (a son and a daughter) was a Pandora bracelet. I had previously seen one and fell in love with it. I have a different charm bracelet but there was something unique about the Pandora bracelet that made me love it even more. When my birthday finally came I was so excited that my husband and kids had given me one along with 3 charms (the angel, birthday box and a turtle). When my mother had seen what a Pandora bracelet was, she fell in love with it as well and my father went and purchased one for her as a surprise. After seeing the two of us receiving such a wonderful gift my daughter, Brooke, wanted one in the worst way.

When the Christmas season arrived, the one present Brooke asked her mom and dad for was a bracelet (Pandora) like her mom and her Nonie. When Christmas morning finally arrived and she found that her mom and dad fulfilled her wish she was so excited. She received a Pandora bracelet with 2 charms (a snowman and a dangling heart). It was the first thing she showed the family when she saw them that morning. Brooke told me that it made her feel like a big girl. She loved knowing we trusted her to have something so nice and that she could keep it forever. The one thing Brooke loves most of all is when, not only her and I have the same charm, but her Nonie has the same one too! It is a special piece of jewelry that seems to tie 3 of us together.

It has come to be a tradition that when a holiday arrives or a special day for one of the three of us that my husband and son, or my dad love being able to pick a special charm out just for us. It not only provides us with special memories of a life time but is has a lot of sentimental meaning. I love being able to pick out a special charm for my mother, or my daughter as well.
