Kristin's Pandora Story

My charmed story begins with not receiving a Pandora bracelet rather giving one. My family and my sister’s boyfriend had gotten my older sister a Pandora bracelet for her birthday. After taking a great liking to her bracelet (and being turned away when I asked to borrow it frequently) my sister bought me a Pandora bracelet of my own for Christmas.

My sister had gotten me the Pandora bracelet and the hearts and swirls bead. She knows whenever I would have a crush on a boy I would doodle. Usually my doodles would be a combination of hearts and swirls (and the boys name in the middle of the heart).

My parents got me the crater bead. When I was little, I always talked about how I was going to grow up and be an astronaut. I wanted to build a house on the moon and live there. I told my parents I would buy them a rocket ship so they can come visit me anytime.

My grandma got me the swirls and dots bead because she thought it looked like fireworks. She always called me her little firecracker because I had so much positive energy as a child (I still do). She thought it was my best trait because when she was my age she was just the same. I consider it my best trait not only because I can stay positive, but because it is a trait I share with my grandmother. Every Forth of July we go to the beach to see the fireworks and we always look forward to sharing a blanket and enjoying the display, knowing what the fireworks represent to us.

I know this is only a start to the many stories I will be able to tell from each bead I will receive for my bracelet. I look forward to collecting more beads and sharing my stories.
