Charms and Charm Bracelets for Elizabeth

In January of 2003 my best friend gave birth to my niece Elizabeth.  Elizabeth was known as a peanut from the day she was born.  Everyone called her peanut.  She was small but loveable.  So, for her 1st birthday I decided that I would start her a charm bracelet.  So, I bought her a silver bracelet and a peanut charm.  My next thought was to get her a charm for every important event in her life.  So, the next big thing was her first step.  I rushed out and bought a baby shoe charm with her birthstone.  After that she said her first word “Duck” so, I rushed out and tracked down a duck charm.  Then last year I gave her a very special charm.  Elizabeth was my flower girl for my wedding.  I bought a flower girl charm and had it engraved on the back “Johnnie & Shelley 4/22/06”.  Elizabeth proudly wore that charm on a chain around her neck during the wedding.  Then, this year Elizabeth turned 4 and she got a lab and kitty charm.   She loves her cat and dog.  The one charm I am now looking to get her is a big sister charm.  Elizabeth became a big sister on May 10, 2007.  This is the next big event.  After this, I guess I will wait until she has her first day at school; who knows.   That is my story.
