My charm story is not one of a traditional bracelet, but rather a Pandora charm bracelet.
This bracelet tells the story of my life with the man I love. One day, while attending a family get
together during the holiday season, I noticed his sister, sister-in-law and mother all had these beautiful
bracelets on. They were silver and had all sorts of interesting looking beads on them. After questioning them,
I learned that they were Pandora bracelets and each charm represented someone, something or a special moment in their
lives. Although I did not mention it to my boyfriend after that, I found myself thinking about those bracelets
and about how much I would like to have one of my own. I caught myself looking online at Pandora's site and imagining
what charms I would choose if I had a bracelet of my own. Well, to my surprise, I opened a box with a bracelet of my own
for my birthday! It was a silver bracelet with a heart to represent our love and two charms with each of our birthstones
on either side of the heart. My birthday is in August, his is in November so it was just an added bonus that his topaz birthstone (a shade of yellow) matched my peridot birthstone (a shade of green)! Since then, we have added quite a few
charms to my bracelet. There is a silver apple with worm to represent my love of teaching and my fourth grade teaching job.
A Christmas tree was a wonderful Christmas gift to represent the joy that we feel spending this holiday with our families and
friends. I was given the Key to my Heart bead for our 2 year Anniversary and I hope one day to add the wedding cake and baby carriage! I love the versatility of this bracelet and how each bead has a special meaning just for us. He loves the fact that
now he doesn't have to wonder what to get me for special occasions! (ha!) Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my
story
